Auburn City Council has entered into a strategic partnership with Compelling Economics, the developers of REMPLAN. REMPLAN is economic modelling software which will assist us in developing a business location geo-coding project.
Business location data has been coded by industry groupings and presented as a layer over Google Maps. This has created a unique ability to add a spatial context to the economic data and capability to build an online economic profile incorporating economic data and indicators to service a broad rage of stakeholders including local businesses, potential investors, prospective new residents, researchers, students and media organisations.
Auburn City will be the first organisation in Australia to receive the REMPLAN online economic profile.
