AUBURN CENTRE FOR COMMUNITY​

The Auburn Centre for Community was officially opened on Thursday 17 March 2011. The Centre is located on the former Auburn Bowling Club site on the corner of Macquarie Road and Hutchinson St, Auburn.  The street address is 44A Macquarie Rd, Auburn.
 
The Centre is open 9 am  - 10 pm Monday to Sunday.
 
The Centre is managed by a full time Council-employed Centre Coordinator located on-site. Core tenants, located in offices within the Centre, also provide a range of community services.
 
Auburn Centre for Community offers a range of facilities available for hire:
  • Main Hall (capacity 100). Also available as a large and small meeting room
  • Multipurpose Room (capacity 60). Includes access to outdoor play areas
  • Small Meeting Room (capacity for up to 10)
  • Computer/Training Room (capacity for up 16) - computers not provided
  • Lounge Area
  • Youth Space
  • Outdoor BBQ
  • Commercial Kitchen
  • Community Hub/Shared Office Space with 4 workstations 

Community Hub

The Centre offers a Community Hub area providing shared office space for up to 4 outreach services at a time.
 
Facilities include access to workstation, PC, internet access, telephone, printer and photocopier. The office space can be hired for either full day use (9 hours) or half day use (4 hours) between the hours of 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
