Auburn Centre for the Community


The Auburn Centre for the Community is an award winning multipurpose Centre which opened in March 2011. The Centre is located on the former Auburn Bowling Club site at 44A Macquarie Road, Auburn, next to Auburn Park. It offers a range of facilities available for hire and provides 5 offices for core tenants to deliver community services and programs. 
The Centre is managed by a full time Council-employed Coordinator located on-site. Core tenants, located in offices within the Centre, also provide a range of community services.  The Centre is open 9 am - 10 pm Monday to Sunday.
Auburn Centre for Community offers a range of facilities available for hire:
  • Main Hall (capacity 100) - also available as a large and small meeting room
  • Multipurpose Room (capacity 60) - includes access to outdoor play areas
  • Computer/Training Room (capacity for up 16)
  • Lounge Area (capacity for 10)
  • Youth Space (capacity for 25)
  • Outdoor BBQ & Grassed Area
  • Commercial Kitchen

 Auburn Centre for Community offers a wide range of community programs to suits all ages and interests.  Please drop into the Centre to find out more about what's availble, connect with Council's Lifelong Learning Program, community outreach services, the Friendship Garden and other onsite activities.
