Parks and recreation facilities hire


The Japanese Gardens at the Auburn Botanic Gardens make a great backdrop for wedding photos
Cumberland Council manages and maintains a network of recreation facilities that are suitable for hire for a variety of events and activities. These include:
  • The Auburn Botanic Gardens – suitable for events such as wedding/ civil ceremonies, wedding photography, filming, still photography,  group excursions and school visits.
  • Sportsgrounds – suitable for variety of winter and summer sports such as football, AFL, rugby league, netball, cricket, touch football and school based activities
  • The Community Picnic Area – located near the Auburn Botanic Gardens and suitable for a range of social and community events, activities and functions
  • Campbell Hill Pioneer Reserve - Located in Guildford and suitable for social gatherings and family picnics.
  • Parks – suitable for a range of social and community events, activities and functions
