INTRODUCTION TO COUNCIL'S INTEGRATED PLANNING AND REPORTING FRAMEWORK
In 2009, the NSW government passed legislation establishing a new framework guiding local government on new ways of organising and reporting on their activities. Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework was designed to increase community involvement in future planning, increase local government accountability to the community, improve local government sustainability and encourage greater integration in local government operations.

State of the Environment ReportEvery four years, Auburn City Council releases The State of the Environment (SoE) Report in the Annual Report to document the progress Council has made on environment and sustainability issues. The SoE process allows Auburn City Council to effectively measure, monitor and evaluate our environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
