WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTROLS 

The overall objectives for all developments are:

1. To implement the principles of the waste hierarchy. Avoiding, minimising, reusing and recycling during the demolition, construction and ongoing use of the premises.
2. Promote the principles of Ecological Sustainable development through waste avoidance, resource recovery and recycling to achieve improved environmental outcomes.

• Blank Waste Management Plan
  This form (or a similar plan) must be completed when submitting your application. Completing this form will assist you in identifying the types of waste that will be generated and advising Council how you intend to reuse, recycle or dispose of waste.

  The Guide, developed by the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water, outlines various essential elements to be considered when designing a waste management system for medium or high density residential, mixed use and integrated housing developments.
