PLANS OF MANAGEMENT FOR COMMUNITY LAND
The Local Government Act (1993) requires all Councils to prepare Plans of Management for land classified as community land.
What is a plan of management?
Plans of Management are legal documents that:
- Identify the land in question
- Describe any restrictions relating to its use
- Categorize the land
- Identify the uses permitted
- Identify management strategies for the land together with performance objectives, anticipated outcomes and timeframes
