About Lidcombe Oval
Lidcombe Oval is located in the Wyatt Park Sporting Complex and is a 10 minute walk from both Auburn and Lidcombe stations.
During the winter months the Oval is the premier venue in the Auburn Local Government Area for rugby league. Lidcombe Oval is the current home of the Auburn Warriors Junior Rugby League Club.
Up to 1986, the Oval was the home of the Western Suburbs Rugby League Club (the Magpies).
A cycle track forms the perimeter of the Oval and is used in the summer months by the Lidcombe Auburn Cycle Club for cycle training and racing.
An off-leash dog area is located outsie the northen perimeter of the Oval adjacent to Haslam's Creek.
