Expression of Interest: Progress Park Community and Sports Centre
Auburn City Council is calling Expressions of Interest for shared use of the Progress Park Community and Sports Centre. Community groups, sports clubs and local organisations are eligible, with the aim to provide regular, ongoing, accessible programs for the local community.
The centre is a multipurpose facility specifically designed for community programs and sports events.
Community Development Officer Linda Boustani encourages interested groups to get involved and make submissions by 6th February.
“This is a great local facility with a main entertainment area for up to 60 people, a large community meeting room for up to 12 people, wheelchair access, an outdoor children’s play area, kitchen and change room facilities”, she said.
“Local organisations should take this opportunity to read over the eligibility criteria and make a submission. Council is happy to offer advice on applications and provide relevant information. Call 9735 1235 or visit
www.auburn.nsw.gov.au for more information about the facility and sports grounds.”
