Mayor's Charity Golf Day
Sunday 27 May 2012
Rosnay Golf Club - Auburn Public Golf Course
The Mayor’s Charity Golf Day is an annual event that aims to provide not only a great golfing day out, but also raise awareness and much needed funds for our local charities doing some fantastic work in the community.
The 2012 event is set for an 11am tee-off on Sunday 27 May at the Auburn Public Golf Course, with the presentation held at 5pm in the Rosnay Golf Club.
This year, the Mayor’s nominated charity is MS Australia - ACT/NSW/VIC, located in Lidcombe. MS Australia provides a wide range of support services to people suffering from the neurological condition Multiple Sclerosis. All funds raised from this event will assist MS Australia to provide services such as counselling, care, accommodation, respite, rehabilitation, and employment support to those suffering from MS.
The tournament is a ‘2 Ball Ambrose’ competition so you can come with a partner or we can pair you up. There will also be 'Nearest the Pin', 'Bradman' and 'Scratch' categories of prizes as well as raffles to be won.
There is a $40 entry fee which covers 18 holes of golf, a BBQ breakfast and BBQ lunch, with all proceeds from the day going to MS Australia.
So come along and have a fun, social hit of golf and help support a very worthy cause.
