Community Centres & Facilities

Designed for all groups in the community, Auburn Council’s community centres are dynamic, multi-purpose facilities that strengthen social ties through shared activities focusing on activities for children, recreational programs, adult education and creative arts.

Council operates three community centres in Lidcombe, Newington and Regents Park (details & photos below) and is currently in the process of developing 2 new community facilities in Auburn (at the former Auburn Bowling Club) and Lidcombe (at the former Lidcombe RSL).

Regents Park Community Kitchen - a commercial kitchen in Regents Park is also available for hire at affordable rates.

The Newington Rage Cage outdoor sports facilities is also available for use beside the Newington Community Centre.
