Waste Management Controls aims to facilitate sustainable waste management and minimisation practices in Auburn in accordance with the principles of ecological sustainable development.
The overall objectives for all developments are:
- To implement the principles of the waste hierarchy of avoiding, reusing and recycling during the demolition, construction and ongoing use of the premises through efficient resource recovery.
- Promote the principles of Ecological Sustainable development through waste avoidance, resource recovery and recycling to achieve improved environmental outcomes.
