AUBURN COUNCIL STRATEGIC SOCIAL PLAN 2005-2010
Auburn Council has developed an award winning Strategic Social Plan 2005–2010. The Social Plan investigates and responds to the needs and aspirations of people and communities in the Auburn Local Government area. The Strategic Social Plan is one of the most important planning tools for Council, enabling the provision of equitable and effective services for the community. AUBURN COUNCIL CULTURAL PLAN 2007-2017
Auburn Council recognises the relevance of cultural planning and development to the creation of a distinctive, connected, inclusive and culturally engaging Auburn. Auburn Council’s Cultural Plan 2007-2017 is a 10 year plan, reflecting the cultural aspirations and values of the community. Council’s Cultural Plan builds on existing cultural assets and resources, and provides new opportunities for cultural development, creative expression, local identity and place making initiatives. FORMER AUBURN BOWLING CLUB
The former Auburn Bowling Club facility (corner of Macquarie Rd and Hutchinson St, Auburn) offers great potential to be transformed into a new Community Centre for Auburn. Council is in the process of undertaking a comprehensive and transparent consultation process to assist in the preparation of concept, design and management plans for the former Auburn Bowling Club site. Stage 1 consultations are now completed and the findings are now available. (Read more )
EVALUATION REPORTS ANDTOOLS
Council’s Community Development Officer – Research and Programs undertakes research and program evaluation and works with other Council staff and the community to identify areas in need of research, determine research methodologies and coordinate information and data sources on demographic information.
