State of the Environment
State of the Environment (SOE) reporting is an ongoing process that Council undertakes, to assess it's progress in relation to the environment and sustainability issues. The SOE covers a range of areas and incorporates the three tiers of sustainability; environment, social and economic. The report outlines ongoing pressures, the current condition or state of the issue and identifies actions Council has undertaken in the reporting year to respond to these pressures. The SOE process allows Council to effectively measure, monitor and evaluate it's environmental performance, and identify areas for improvement.
